TheChristmaslist

This is a wonderful app for people like me who have a ton of people to shop for every year and always wait till the last minute to get it all done. With this app you can add people from your contacts, assign a gift and/or budget to each, view your progress and status, and then use the data to organize your trip based on where you need to buy from. There are also other great Christmas gift tracking apps for Android users as well. Christmas shopping just got easier!

Finding the time to send out Christmas or thank you cards can be challenging. Time that you don’t always have a whole lot of during the holiday season. ‘Tis the season to also give back. However, with all of the running around, it’s not always placed high on the list of things to do. If you have clothes or furniture you’ve been needing to donate or just are looking for a good deal, this app lets you schedule a pick-up, find a drop-off location and track all the donations you’ve made so you no longer have to search around for all those random receipts.

Pandora Radio

Free for Android and iOS.

pandora

I’m not going to lie — I listen to the Christmas station while at work. It just makes me happier. If you don’t have a computer nearby though, Pandora also has a free app that’s great for putting on some festive tunes to sing along to as you decorate or cook in preparation for the holiday. Liking or disliking various songs allows you to tailor each station to your specific taste rather than spending all that money on your favorite tunes. There’s no better way to get into the mood, and even better, Pandora has lifted its time restrictions, so you can listen to your heart’s content!

Santa Tracker

Free for Android; $0.99 for iOS.

Santa-Tracker

I tried writing to Santa when I was little. I wrote in my best cursive and stuck it in the mailbox addressed: The North Pole. I was so excited I thought Santa was going to read my letter in his little workshop. Well, it didn’t work. The mailman sent it back. And every year on Christmas Eve I would wonder where he was in the world and if he was going to be in my area soon. I could never stop thinking about it much less get any sleep! If only I had this app. It not only counts down to Christmas, it lets you keep up with Santa’s blog with updates throughout the night, allows you to track his movement and even lets you send him letters! It’s definitely a great way to share the joy and bring alive the magic of Christmas for your little ones.

Born and raised in Colorado- other than the 2 years I spent getting in touch with my Filipino roots -I love good beer and doing anything outdoors. When I’m not obsessing on something, at work or off getting lost somewhere, you can probably find me barbequing with friends and family, working in my garden or curled up on the couch with a movie and a glass of wine.
