We do not have a copper color case, Laura… sorry! Not sure if it was a possible knockoff, we have seen a bunch (guess we have hit the ranks of Rolex watches
) or if they were mistaken.-

Which is not a bad idea, though. Bronze, copper, nickle, platinum defenders. The possibilites are endless!!

I ordered otterbox defender black for verizon iphone 2 days ago and my order status still says “being processed” and i havent gotten a confirmation email from the USPS priority mail yet what is going on? My order number is 00316700.

I place an order on 2/13/2011 and still haven’t got a email saying that the order been shipped. I also try tracking the number with USPS and it says that the number I tried is wrong. Can you please let me know what is going on.

Hello, I ordered two cases yesterday, and entered in all my information (credit card etc.) and when I pressed the button to end the purchase I was just sent to the home screen. I was expecting an email with a confirmation and tracking number but haven’t received it yet .! Please help?

I would recommend calling our Customer Support Otters at 888.695.8820 so they can assist. I am not seeing anything, but I definitely would not say I qualify as an expert in our operating system!

i have the otter box for the blackberry torch love it but after 7 months it now makes the buttons freeze with it on. i took it off and rebooted and everything works fine. what can i do?

I would recommend giving our customer support Otters a call at 888.695.8820 for troubleshooting, I am not sure what is going on, but our CS Otters are real pros and should have some suggestions for you.

I’ve been checking your website weekly since the iPad2 has been announced, but I haven’t seen a case for it. The current Defender and Commuter both state NOT for iPad 2.
What’s the scoop? When will you have a case for the iPad 2?!
I have the Defender for my iPhone and won’t have anything else for my new iPad 2!

Since Apple does not release devices early (even to earnest Otters), we were not able to start on the case until the iPad2 released to market. We are working on a Defender Series option right now and are moving quickly through the development process. Windshield mount for Droid X Defender series Otterbox?
There is a windshield mount that would hold my Motorola Droid X, but the Defender series Otterbox makes that impossible and it takes too long to remove and reinstall the phone from the Otterbox — besides, what if I was in a wreck? I might be killed, but my phone would survive thanks to the Otterbox Defender! LOL
Is there a windshield mount that would allow the Droid X to be positioned and rotated from vertical to horizontal so I can use it for navigation and other handsfree activities?

Hi, I just want to say that I love my otter box case for my iphone. I was at work the other day and knocked the phone out of the belt clip. The phone took a swan dive from 40 feet onto concrete. I expected the worst but only had a very light mark on the case and the phone was undamaged. I have recommended the otter box case to everyone on my face book.

The Defender is OUTSTANDING! I was working on my dozer and took my iphone in the defender and set it below the windshield on the hood of my truck. Needing a part I quickly jumped in the truck and headed to town. When I got there I realized what I had just done. I was sick.
I found my phone in the ditch and where I found it I had to be doing at least 45 mph. The phone is OK and so it the defender. I thank my lucky stars for OtterBox. -
I want to add my praise of the OtterBox product line as well as their customer support. I work at a school where iPads and iPods are used heavily. The Vista School operates a year-round day school for children with autism. Many of our children are non-verbal and use the iPads and iPods with AAC software which allows them to “speak” through the device. These devices are carried with the students throughout the day and take a pretty heavy beating. Having used OtterBox cases on my cell phones in the past, I decided to order Defender Series cases for the “iDevices”. Both our staff and parents are impressed with the construction and durability of the cases. There have been several instances where the cases have definitely saved the device’s life. We couldn’t imagine deploying a device without an OtterBox at this point.
I also use OtterBox cases personally. I have one on my iPhone and iPad. Today the clip broke off of the holster of my iPhone Defender case. I called the customer service at OtterBox and explained what happened. Within minutes I received an email confirmation that a new holster was ordered for me and on it’s way. This is exceptional customer service and deserves to be recognized. An amazing product backed by an equally amazing company – who could ask for anything more?

I recently contacted a customer service representative about my warranty and replacing my otter box since the case was cracking and the silicone was ripping. It is the hot pink and white defender case for the iPhone 4. The lady I talked to said she had placed my order and that I would receive it in 7-10 business days but it still hasn’t come. My order number is SO972409 but in not sure what I need to do in order to get this taken care of.

I must say, it is hard to find such a great company these days, especially in the US. I first got my Defender case in June of 2010 when I bought my iPhone 3GS. It has been one of the best products I’ve ever bought! I even purchased one for my girlfriend and she loves it… only now her dad wants one. He will have to wait until Father’s Day! Anyway, I have nearly made it the full year, but noticed a slight crack in the case, allowing dust into my phone. No surprise, considering I’ve probably dropped my phone on total concrete at least 5 times. Any other product by another company would’ve shattered this phone! I called just to see what Otterbox customer service could do for me, I spoke to an AMERICAN, that’s right, a real Colorado citizen, and they helped me within minutes. No questions asked other than my name, and they even knew my address. Great company, and I will always get my cases from you guys! Thanks Otterbox!

Hi. Please can you help? I have an iPad 2 which I really need an otter box case for… My son has autism and loves the iPad but I cant send it to school without a good protection device. I’ve preordered the iPad 2 case through amazon.uk but am being told my order may not be filled until August. That’s a long wait… Is this the true picture? I’m getting desperate!

While I don’t know a lot about when the UK distributors are planning on bringing product in or what shipping and delivery times look like there, I can tell you that the case will be available on our website much sooner. We anticipate a Spring release on this product… far in advance of the balmy days August brings.

Hi Jin, generally order processing takes 1-2 business days. You should receive a receipt once your order ships and your tracking number will be located on your receipt attachment.

I just got an email from Otter Box about the 3 new tablet cases and I was just wondering if Otter Box was planning on designing and making a case for the Notion Ink Adam? It is a great tablet that is growing quickly in popularity. And I would be willing to bet that nearly all Adam owners will purchase one simply because it will be the only case made for our device. Why don’t you guys have colored cases for a Droid 2? Mostly every other phone has different colors.

We make a decision on whether or not to do color shortly after the black case releases. Our decisions are based on device popularity, how the case sold in black and device lifecycle. In some cases, it does not make sense for us to make color due to these factors.

I sent an email on 6/6 about my otterbox breaking and since then I have sent an email every Monday but still no reply. I even called the number and left my phone number for a call back with still no call back there either. I have purchased at least 7-8 and not too happy with the no response back. I did send an email to socialmedia@otterbox.com hoping to get a reply of some sort!! Will keep others updated…
a saw a person with a copper looking case. They said it was an otterbox. I am looking for an otterbox for my iphone 4 (had on one my 3G) but cannot find the copper color on the website. Does or did otterbox make a copper looking color? Was this a possible knockoff and the person just thought it was an otterbox?
