I’m having a few friends over to watch the Oscars and can’t wait for the big event! I just love to watch this awards show every year no matter how many nominated movies I’ve actually seen. I really enjoy all of the glamour, glitz and drama of it. I know it baffles my brother-in-law how I can be so into the celebrity gossip scene, but it’s a favorite diversion of mine.

At the crack of dawn on the last Wednesday of January, six Otters, two rented SUVs and a variety of smartphone cases left for a little place called Aspen for a little event known as Winter X Games.

In 1994, Harry and Lloyd made an epic journey to “a little place called Aspen.” In 2011, OtterBox followed suit, kicking off the year and the Down+Dirty tour with an inaugural visit to Aspen and the Winter X Games. We love our customers, but there are moments when we are also extremely proud of them… this is one of those times.
During the holidays, we ran a promotion around Protect Those Who Protect Us. We gave everyone purchasing a case through OtterBox.com a choice of charity they wanted a portion of the purchase price to go to. Charities included Wounded Warrior Project, UNICEF and Homes for Heroes Foundation.
