OtterBox/OtterCares’ Win Big on National Philanthropy Day!

On Friday, November 18, OtterBox and the OtterCares Foundationwere recognized with the “2011 Outstanding Small Business” award from National Philanthropy Day in Colorado at a luncheon held in Denver, Colo. Nancy Richardson, President of OtterCares, accepted the award and thanked the OtterBox employees who are dedicated to volunteerism and philanthropy.

Through the work of OtterCares, employees participate in many volunteer projects including food drives, Habitat for Humanity Team BuildsMake a Difference Day and more. The foundation also offers monetary support through three grant funds named after OtterBox case series: the Impact FundCommuter Fund and Armor Fund.

Thoughts on Thanksgiving

I am bursting with excitement to head East to my sister’s house for the Thanksgiving week. Ever since I was little, Thanksgiving has been one of my favorite holidays. For me it means time with family, watching movies, playing board games and lots of good food. I’ve got a lot of cousins (nineteen to be exact) and I just loved it when all of us got together in one place for Thanksgiving.
