Holiday cookieEvery year at Christmas the husband and I bake like crazy. We carry on the tradition from his family and give out plates of cookies and treats to all of our neighbors on Christmas Eve. We usually end up with nine or ten deliveries before dinner and most years I remember to write on the tag that they are from us.

We moved into our neighborhood in 2000 and I found some new recipes that year that I’ve been using ever since.

Thoughts on Thanksgiving

I am bursting with excitement to head East to my sister’s house for the Thanksgiving week. Ever since I was little, Thanksgiving has been one of my favorite holidays. For me it means time with family, watching movies, playing board games and lots of good food.
