To keep you cool this summer try some new cold summer treats – whether you’re throwing a summer BBQ, small get together or just wanting to make some deliciously cool treats for yourself, check out these easy DIY recipes that will leave everyone satisfied!

 Fruity Ice Cubes

Want to add something a little different to your beverage? Try Fruit Filled Ice Cubes. Fill ice cube trays with water and drop in raspberries, lemon slices, lime slices, orange slices, blueberries or another fruit favorite. Change it up to let your guests try all the different flavors and combinations. The cubes add a pop to any drink! Another quick tip – water directly from the tap tends to leave the ice cubes with a “cloudy” appearance, next time boil some water, let cool and use that water for clear, easy to see through ice cubes!

 Homemade Popsicles

Keeping with the fruit theme, homemade popsicles are healthy and easy to make for any occasion. Prepare your desired fruit combinations and mix in some limeade or similar juice and throw all ingredients into a blender. Pour blended mixture into Dixie cups or a variety of pre-molded holders. Freeze each fruit popsicle for a couple of hours and take out right before serving.

 Fruit Punch (Sangria without alcohol)

Sangria can be anything you want it to be! Mix in any fruit you like with your choice of juice or sangria mix to make an excellent refreshment while having different fruit-filled goodness. Try this mouth-watering recipe next: Sangria Fruit Punch.
