Hands on with the iPad mini
So after a few hours of messing around with the new iPad mini I’ve concluded that it’s the best iPad to date. I currently own an iPad 2 and I’ve come to the decision to sell it so that I can pick up an iPad mini of my own. Yes it’s the same device when it comes to processer and speed but the smaller design is something I can’t look past.
In addition to its portability the iPad mini is fairly affordable and these are two of the most important things to me when it comes to technology. While the iPad mini carries a higher price tag than some of its competitors it’s actually quite a discount at $329 when compared to the full-sized iPad ($499). When it comes to size I don’t think I’m out of line when I say that more people will take an iPad mini with them when they’re out and about. My full size doesn’t typically leave the house or office so its not being used to its full portable potential. Apple really hit a home run with this one and it won’t be long before it truly takes off.
The big question on social media lately has been “why should I buy an iPad mini over a 4th Generation iPad?” The question I asked myself after using the mini for a few hours is “why would I need anything bigger?”
But hey, don’t take my word for it. Head out and check one out for yourself. If you happen to pick one up, make sure you wrap that baby in an OtterBox Defender Series Case!
