|iPhone 5C set to cost much less than previous models
Rumor has it that the new iPhone 5C will range between $250 and $300, making it much more affordable than other models. This new device will likely come with a plastic casing, rather than the aluminum of the previous iPhone 5.

|European Apple patent hints at NFC-enabled iPhone fingerprint sensor
Rumors have been swirling that the new iPhone could have a fingerprint scanner built in. Those rumors were given some more credibility today, as a newly filed European patent outlines the NFC-enabled fingerprint sensor.

Photos claiming to be of the logic board for the rumored iPhone 5C have popped up around the web. The sourced article compares the pictured board to the current iPhone 5 board, where you can see the similarities.
› Friday, September 6th
| iPhone 5S and 5C pre-orders rumored to start next week
No U.S. pre-orders have leaked, but some reports claim that Chinese carriers are preparing to take pre-orders shortly after the September 10th Apple event. This report comes shortly after one of these carriers accidently started taking orders early.
|iPhone 5S to incorporate biometric fingerprint technology
Apple purchased fingerprint sensor company AuthenTec in 2012, leading to some rumors that the new 5S could incorporate a fingerprint scanning sensor near the home button. This sensor would reportedly work as alternative security for the mobile device.

|Leaked iPhone 5S Gold Case To Hold Larger Battery, Faster Chip
Photos and a fan video has leaked showing the possibility of a gold (or champagne, depending on who you ask) iPhone 5S. Some of the details on the back panel may also indicate a larger battery and new dual-core A7 processor.
|iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 Release Date rumors surface today
Some information has come to light indicating that a new iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 will indeed be released before the end of 2013. Both device will likely contain the new A7X chip, and come with retina display.

Some new photos surfaced over the weekend which feature what is believed to be the new Apple iPhone 5C. These are some of the first pictures that show us what the rumored device could look like in several different colors, including: blue (pictured right), yellow, and white. |Apple announces special event for September 10
Yesterday Apple sent out invites for a special announcement event at their Cupertino, CA headquarters. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th at 10am PST. The invitation graphics, seen to the left, is quite colorful, and may be a tip at just some of the colors the new Apple products will be available in!
