Rumor squashed – No invitations from Apple

Read Article

It’s a sad day in the world of iPad mini buzz. Rumors that Apple would be sending out invites to an iPad mini announcement event started last week and were squashed this morning when everyone’s inbox remained empty. In its place was another rumor and a leaked photo of the elusive device.

Sonny Dickson, a researcher for fan site 9to5mac.com, published images of the supposed iPad mini on his Twitter feed yesterday. The images show a much smaller iPad lying on top of a full sized device. From what rumors have said the new device boasts a 7.85in liquid crystal display.

Another rumor popped up today that might not be the best set of news we’ve heard. While the full size iPad offers a variety of connections including wireless, 4G LTE and 3G options, some are saying that the iPad mini may be Wi-Fi only.

As always we will have to wait and see what Apple has to say. Keep an eye out for updates and to stay in the know, head over to our iPad mini rumors page!
