Sharing the Genius: LG Optimus G Pro
LG finally ended the taunting for potential U.S. fans of the LG Optimus G Pro after announcing the LG Optimus G Pro at Mobile World Congress in January. LG held a special event last night entitled “Share the Genius” in New York City. They coupled the announcement event with an exclusive concert featuring Atlas Genius, a fitting name for the shindig’s headliner. Prior to the live event AT&T confirmed that they will be carrying the phone and it will be available in the U.S. on May 10, 2013.
The high-end LG Optimus G Pro not only talks the talk, this device walks the walk when comes to specs and its competition. The LG Optimus G Pro is at par with the Samsung Galaxy Note II, though it comes without a stylus, this 5.5-inch device features a full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display while running Android 4.1.2 Jellybean.
LG Optimus G Pro’s quad core processer and 2 GB of ram means action-packed gaming , and faster browsing. The “G Pro” also makes the idea of multi-tasking a reality with the ability to use two apps at once as well as its 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera simultaneously, allowing you to record from both cameras.
The LG Optimus G Pro raises the bar even further for productivity with View Talk – the ability to write messages and view responses in real time between two Optimus G Pro users.
With some serious technology features, the LG Optimus G Pro has entered the ring of big hitters. Next week, you can find this phone available exclusively at AT&T.
We want to hear from you … how do you think the LG Optimus G Pro stacks up?
