Spring cleaning, no item left behind — including your OtterBox
Ahhh, spring — a time of rebirth, of regrowth, of rejuvenation. The air is full of life; it’s a beautiful thing.
But let’s be honest, some things need a little help being brought back to life in time for spring. Thankfully, this is nothing a good ol’ fashion spring cleaning can’t fix! And don’t be afraid to include your OtterBox on the cleaning list this year.
We know you give your OtterBox case a lot of love and it takes a lot of beatings with day-to-day wear and tear. Sometimes your case is proof of the love it’s received, which is why we came up with a few tips on how to clean up your OtterBox to get it looking like new again, just in time for spring:
- Wash your OtterBox with warm soapy water to easily remove surface stains on your case
- Quickly sanitize your OtterBox with a Sani-Wipe to keep your case germ-free
This one’s for our customers rocking the water, drop, dust and crush proof Armor Series:
- It is really important to keep the O-rings in your Armor Series case clean. What’s an O-ring, you ask? Open the port covers and take a look at the black “ring” surrounding the interior plugs of your case. This is the O-ring, which is a mechanical gasket used to ensure a tight, waterproof seal. If dust, dirt or small particles get into the O-ring, the functionality of the watertight seal may be compromised. Thankfully, you can easily clean O-rings with hot soapy water. You do not need to remove the O-rings in order to clean them.
So go ahead, use these tips and get your clean on!
