Woot! The day we have anticipated for so long finally arrived and we can now move from speculation to reality. If you have been keeping up with our blog, you know the rumors, so let’s take a look at which ones panned out and which didn’t:

  • Assistant: TRUE – It will actually be called Siri and looks to have some rockin’ features including voice recognition in three languages (with more languages and services on the way).

Well, it looks like the wait to see what’s new from Apple is almost over. Both Mashable and GigaOm have announced that press invites have gone out for an Apple announcement on October 4th. We can’t wait!

As to what they’ll be announcing, here’s the roundup of rumors:

It’s apple season: iPhones and fruit!

Apple and applesIn the spirit of all the hoopla surrounding Apple’s latest iPhone announcement and the apple harvest, I’ve dug up some fun apple recipes. Sweet, savory, spirit, snack and dessert whatever you are in the mood for, there is an apple recipe to satisfy your craving.

SWEET: This may be too cliche for some, but I just love a fresh caramel apple. I enjoy making them (and the associated sticky mess) with my kids. I can never eat an entire apple once it is covered in caramel, but I give it a valiant try every time.

Well, this week was a bit more interesting than last… we now have a revised date for a podium appearance and some confirmation that our earlier speculation that there would be two versions may, in fact, be correct.

Here’s the roundup:
