I just want to give a big “THANK YOU!” to OtterBox for the hassle free and lightning quick replacement of my Commuter Series case for my Galaxy S3. I had my case for just over a month when I broke the hard plastic outer shell while I was putting in a new MicroSD card. I called the place where I had bought my OtterBox and asked what their warranty policy was and was told that I had 14 days from the day of purchase to return defective items. Since it was more than 14 days, I was told that I would have to contact the manufacturer (you) and see if they would replace it. So I went to the warranty page on the website to see what the policies were and first thing it said to do was contact the people I bought the case from (done that). Since they were no of help I continued on and the website said OtterBox would only honor the warranty after 30 days had passed from date of purchase, so that too was also done. Next, I had to fill in the warranty information online and submit two photos, which the website describes in good detail what they want to see in them (also done). I submitted my claim and the OtterBox team responded within minutes telling me the claim had gone through and that I’d get shipping information in the next 24 hours. The next day I got another email with my shipping information indicating that I’d have my replacement case in 5 to 7 work days. The GREAT thing was I had my case in less time than that. BAM! FOUR DAYS FROM START OF CLAIM TO REPLACEMENT- CASE IN MY HAND! WOW! I’m impressed with your companies case and service and glad that you have pride in your products and respect for your customers. I’m a happy and supportive customer that has no problem recommending your products to my family and friends. THANK YOU OTTERBOX!
