I heard that OtterBox was a good product but could never quite bring myself to add that cost to a new phone purchase. Finding the product model that fits made this decision a lot easier. I change phones every two years it seems, not a plan, just the way it turns out. Last year, tired of my service provider’s excuses, I changed to another and the phone was a bonus with the new service. The store threw in a coupon AND they had one left of the OtterBox Defender Series for the model of my new phone so I took one. It helps that almost everyone at work had a newer phone with a cracked screen and they were comparing notes on the degree of functionality left! Eight months later, the entire unit slipped off my belt, and skidded across the pavement. My phone was fine, as it had been through about 3 previous drops but the belt clip pivot point broke. I tried to locate just a new belt clip and finally went to OtterBox directly to see if I could buy a new one. Instead, I was directed to put my request in a warranty form which I did. The next day I was notified that my warranty had been acted on, and 3 days later I had a package with a new unit on my doorstep in Canada. No questions, no receipt, no nothing and WAY WAY WAY beyond what I was expecting. OtterBox all the way. Every time for me now and everyone I talk to (which is a lot working in a Home Depot store). Now when they compare cracks, I announce that sadly…. I still have none! Thanks.
