Protection for What’s Next

In case you missed it, CES 2012 was a pretty hot topic last week. We were at the event in Las Vegas showing off our cases and enjoying the opportunity to meet thousands of great folks just like you. We also had some pretty sweet giveaways going on both in our booth and on our Facebook page.

To keep with our “Protection for What’s Next” campaign, visitors to both OtterBox CES booth locations had an opportunity to enter the, “What’s Your Next?” contest. The lucky winner will be treated to their next adventure, up to a $5,000 value. Those not in attendance at CES were encouraged to visit the OtterBox Facebook page for a chance to win an airline voucher valued at $1,000.

We were overwhelmed with hundreds of entries ranging from Disneyland trips to zip-lining through African canopies. Some were funny, some were touching and some were downright crazy! This contest gave us the rare privilege to hear from some amazing, passionate people.

And now, the winners!

“What’s Your Next?” on Facebook:

Evan S., a 32-year-old Colorado resident, has a pretty amazing conquest in mind. We are inspired by his adventurous spirit and desire to give back to the planet.

“Mountain rivers are the lifeblood of the land. The Futaleufu River in Chile is in danger of being damned. I am a river hero not a financial hero. With your help, my next will be helping to save the Futaleufu by paddling, photographing and writing about the adventure.”

Congratulations, Evan. We can’t wait to hear your story and see those pictures!

“What’s Your Next?” at CES:

Dawn M., of Texas has a very touching adventure in mind. She would like to take her teenage son to the mysterious ruins of Machu Picchu, in the Cusco Region of Peru, South America. Here they will backpack, camp and have the chance to bond and connect with each other. We are so happy to be able to offer this gift to Dawn and her son!

Have fun, Dawn! We are excited to share the experience with you.
